Now That's Just COLD! Girl Puts Up Her GIFT (Nissan 370Z Roadster) For Sale

Just saw this...

Quote:

".
..The car was bought new in Oregon late last year by a young man that thought he could influence my daughter's affections by giving it to her as a gift. The only problem was, my daughter is not influenced by material things and she has way too many friends to be happy with a two seater. She is also not a fool and decided the boy was (far too wealthy) and she could use the money. So she told me (Dad) to sell it so she could use the money more wisely. The young man liked the looks of the 2010 Nismo front spoiler so he had a body shop install it on the car. Everything is in excellent condition inside & out..."

false baseless love can lead an insecure man to do stupid things like giving a gift like this. the dumb *** deserves the knife in the heart like this. reminds me of the "my humps" song by fergie and the black eyed peas.

LONDON2012 01-25-2011 03:55 AM

This car was listed almost a year ago. Look at the date in the article. Also, I was watching this vehicle when it was first listed on ebay. Then it eventually moved over to auto trader. The story of why they were selling kept changing. I don't buy the story.

ImportConvert 01-25-2011 04:20 AM

It's not cold in the least. The "young man" has more money than brains and it sounds like he won't miss it.

Props to a girl that I would probably think a lot of, if I ever met her.

kenchan 01-25-2011 07:12 AM

Neato! :icon17: lol

SPOHN 01-25-2011 07:27 AM

The guy is a dumba$$. Why some men think they can buy love? I don't care what you have or how you look. In the end it's how you both work together.

You can only buy love from a working girl. Even Elliot Spitzer paid less than this fool.

My favorite is when a guy buys a gal a set of "bolt ons" (augmentation). She gets more male attention, dumps the dude still holding a receipt and monthly payment, and that's not all he'll be holding.

"She is also not a fool and decided the boy was (far too wealthy) and she could use the money."

Sorry, gotta disagree with most here. I raised my kids better. I doubt any of them would take this gift under the false pretence of deciding someone else was "far too wealthy" even if they "could use the money". To take advantage of his feeling for her for monetary gain is just icing on the cake for this rotten kid.

SPOHN 01-25-2011 10:55 AM

Don't get me started on the opposite sex. I can go all day. But for my sake and the forum I won't. I have lots of stories. But I swear by my soul I'll never get worked over again.

:iagree: it's wholly unethical to accept a gift under false pretense and then sell it. It might be financially savvy, but it's morally wrong.

Sounds like a scammmmmm

CrownR426 01-25-2011 05:44 PM

I think this is b/s!:shakes head:
Just because the car is not fully loaded and it's manual.
What girl would want to drive manual all day and not want nice interior?
Never met a girl that didn't like nice interior.:ugh2:
Also the Nismo Front is another given. :owned:

Probably just wanted to sell the car asap.

Just saying!

I'll bet he wanted to complete the transaction through some ebay account and you could have the car shipped free of charge and decide when you get it and all he needs is your full information with no obligation to buy . . . the Craigslist GI stationed in Montana scam grows breast and finds a father figure.

SmoothZ 01-25-2011 07:22 PM

That's an ugly car. I can see why it's for sale. :wtf2:

You don't pay a hooker to f*ck you. You pay her to leave afterward. Tiger Woods should have paid more. As it is, I am impressed that he kept it under the rug so long, he must have paid pretty well actually.

Buying a girl a car is not the way to get her to leave.

The young man is full of all sorts of fail.

toxik 01-25-2011 09:23 PM

I bought a girl a WS6 once... she fvcked me alright, dunno what happened to the car though.

m4a1mustang 01-25-2011 09:26 PM

Did she pop bottles in the ice, like a blizzard?

toxik 01-25-2011 09:26 PM

we had sex on the WS6 but no dents were made I noticed.

m4a1mustang 01-25-2011 09:26 PM

Must not have leaned on the quarter panels.

Probably hit a pile of paint-chips left my some 370Z and due to the solid rear axle slid off a cliff.

Chronologically, maybe, but damned if you don't remind me of how I acted in 9th grade.

Sorry I rejected the cool-aid and didn't buy one of your precious imports, but there really is no need to de-rail every single thread to talk about something completely non-applicable. The reason I brought the WS6 up in many posts previous is because I raced most of the cars out there with it, and it provided a good "baseline" for comparing how they do on the street. The magazines just don't do that well comparing how cars really perform in my experience. Since I have not driven every car mentioned, but raced most of them, the comparison made sense.

At least it rhymes, lol. You ever figure out what my friend did to get 706whp out of an internally stock F22 engine? (or do I have you confused with someone else)

too long, didn't read

but speaking of 9th grade, trolling was fun. just like never owning a Z, not buying a Z, yet still posting on a Z forum. didn't grow up much, did we now?

I came on this forum to figure out what the Z was about. I figured it out, and didn't like it enough to buy one of my own. Sortof like our above rustang owner, except I didn't take the depreciation hit of having to get rid of it. :tiphat:

But I know who "you" are, as I have met "you" many times over the course of my life. You aren't logical, you can't be reasoned with. The only way to deal with you is to beat your *** so hard you drag it home, or avoid you, since this is the internet and I am not much on keyboard commandoing, I will opt for the latter.
