when the engine is running you can't open the doors from the inside without first unlocking them.
i could do this with all my other cars (the doors on the other cars would open from the inside without having to unlock them first when the engine is running).

That's only an issue if you've moved the car. If you turn the engine on and run it, your doors will remain unlocked until the car is in motion. And of course, cutting the engine unlocks the doors. However, they make little buttons on the door for a reason.

FYI.I personally back up and park with the front facing, so I can see whats it front of me. I do this at my house as well, since I had a narrow miss from my neighbors car. No worries now.

Me too  its illegal to reverse into main stream traffic here....pretty dangerous too I recon.

Road noise. I was OK with it for the first couple of years, but now I'm growing to dislike it.

YUP! +1....At first I thought it was wheel bearing issues then to be sure I had it checked by my mechanic....I would much rather listen to my exhaust
( or passenger squealing :icon17: ) or I-pod I have to say :iagree:

350z had the same problems, cant see in your blind spots. Helpfull tip I learned from instructors at BMW's Driving Academy in Greenville SC. You don't need 3 mirrors looking to the rear. Focus the rear center mirror on the back, adjust your side mirrors to view your blindspots rear side meaning the part of your blindspot that you would be twisting your head the hardest to the left or the right to view. After doing that you use the mirror to check that and just a quick glance left or right confirms that a cars not next to you or curb or whatever. If your backing out of a spot just drop the mirror down so you can see the curb and your rim.

Instructors at a Skip Barber course taught me the same method.
