iPhone phonebook download to nav

Has anyone here had any luck with downloading the iphone phonebook to the nav computer either through bluetooth or the adaptor? It appears that the iphone supports no kind of transfer option, but I'm REALLY hoping that I'm wrong.

I tried too, but didn't have any success. Of course I gave up pretty easily because I was in the middle of leaving for somewhere. I'll have to try it again when I get some more time.

My wife has an '08 Altima with nav and we couldn't get it to work. However, I used to have a 2007 Audi A4 and it was able to download my entire iPhone phonebook. Unfortunately my Z doesn't have nav so I can't comment there. Based on my Audi experience, the iPhone is capable but the Nissan nav appears to not play 'nice' with it.
