Kind of a sideways move, depending on how you value various things.

mick 01-15-2011 08:25 PM

mathematically speaking, 370 is greater than 328 :D

Dembflyr 01-15-2011 10:40 PM

NOOOOOOO! Another one down.

Good luck with the bimmer Holiday!

In magnitude sure. You can't really compare a real number like 370 with an imaginary one (328i)

Congrats! Pics please.

Btw, do you require EPA certification if you bring it to USA!

It is US spec so the stickers are already on the car :)

coming from someone with spot package rays going to knock off te's in two different colors :icon18:

sorry , had to say it..

e90s are VERY nice cars.. with M package and navi its a lot of car... downgrade in speed yes.. thats about the only definite downgrade I see.. I say they are in the same class, esp his with M package which is a very sleek good looking car.

like i said before , if I had to pick one car my girls 06 325xi (awd is a huge plus) or my Z I would really have to think hard about it. lucky for me i can take it whenever I please and enjoy the nice quite smooth ride..

its also hilarious how many older woman i find checking me out in it, which does not happen in my Z, sort of funny imo.

This is a shot of ours...

his has M package and a newer lci front end that is a bit more aggressive.. not an ugly car by any means imo.

BMWs are just so bland, boring and repetitive... but congrats and enjoy.

Maybe from the outside, but they are a real pleasure to drive.

Even with over 200k on the clock, my 540i rode better than my Z ever will. That thing could hold it's own in the twisties too, despite being nearly 2 tons and old as hell.

Holliday,

Congrats on the new cars. I'm glad you and your wife are happy with the decision. I bet you'll miss the Z once in a while, but BMW's are really great cars.

Sometimes priorities change, and there's nothing wrong with that. Having a hot performance coupe vs. having a fun and practical 4-seater that both you and the wife can drive.

(of course, I'd have tried to talk her into learning manual, but that's just me ;) )
