nothing more boring than driving a fast car slow.

Right. So what was that about my DD being slow? Been there, done that, with the 300rwhp cars.

just drifted through some corners on my way home....man I missed these controlled and prolonged drifts.....it's so much fun!

OP did you ever do a break job on the gtr ? Thats a reason alone to re consider the gtr.

this is misleadng info as well. I know the dealership charges upwards of $6k for a brake job. But who goes to the dealership for these things anyways?

I've only had to change my front pads after track days. $400.

I really don't have anything to say against that, lol. It is a bit more sluggish than I thought it would be.

yah, when i bought the G20 new at the time, i thought it was a great dd... was lowered on coilovers, had 17" wheels, lip spoiler, nice Remus looking muffler, nakamichi HU with 7CD changer and MB Quart setup i installed, everyone complimented how it looked and how awesome the stereo sounded.

until problems started here and there and then repeated itself. so much for 'born in japan' i thought. must have been that 'raised in europe' part that killed it. :icon17:

Indeed. Mine has had the issues. At any rate, everything in it is new now, lol.

Congrats on the Z, man.

I read through the entire thread and your points sound very reasonable. I've owned different cars as well, and I too feel home in the Z.

Cool story bro...

I would trade my Z on a GTR any day of the week and I'm sure a lot of the guys on here would also.

Thanks for living my dream. :-P
