Hey, I would have said ANYTHING I could think of to stop someone from leaving the scene of a crime, especially if there was a Z involved! Tell the friend you know his Mommy for all I care. This DB wants to help someone try to avoid the consequences of their actions?! You did the right thing, OP. Too bad you had to cross paths with this woman again.
BTW, any Sex and the City fan would get the See You Next Tuesday response you gave her. I'll bet it sunk in a few seconds after you left!
