Default Q about paint repair

I have a very small scratch on the rear bumper of my new PW 370, but the scratch is all the way through the paint to the plastic.

I bought touch up paint (4 bottles - primer, base white, pearl, clear) and the results might as well be White-Out. It looks like hell. Better than seeing the black plastic, but pretty pathetic.

Can a good paint shop just sand and re-paint that small area and make it look decent, or am I forced to re-paint the entire bumper?

It's only about a half-inch long, but it drives me nuts being a new car.

Yes they should be able to blend it for you, shouldn't be too expensive.

Try langka. If the touchup is still pretty fresh you can remove it using mild polish like scratchx and redo.

Ck with junkman in the detailing forum here.
