I like the CTS-V, but only the new ones and again those are a little on the pricey side. A used M or AMG sedan is an option but after my experience with Mercedes I will never own a German car out of warranty. |
g37 sedan gives you a lot of what your looking for. Sorry for your loss but at least you got a decent amount for your car.

CTS-V with the supercharger is one bad *** machine...
and I am lmao at the import comments.. i give him credit for sticking around with the constant thrashings he takes... |

Now if he was driving a five point o-- :p Really, though, I think the OP made the best heat-of-the-moment decision he could and it looks like the situation has been resolved for the best with the car being totalled so he doesn't have to drive around in a Z that was pieced back together. So now the question is... what's next? Another Z or something else. :eekdance: |

Just went car shopping all day and really didnt find anything attractive. a buddy of mine has used car lot and just got in a '10 Camaro SS fully loaded w/ aero package also. he'll give it to me for 32.5K but im not an American muscle car fan
|
camaro is gross in my opinion.... Z>camaro
|
If the Camaro had a nice interior and was at least 400 lbs lighter it would be badass.

What about 135 M series?

I see you guys are talking about the new 2011 sti here.
why havent anyone mention the Lancer Evolution yet? doesnt the evolution stomp on the sti? (sti understeers) the evo x has an awesome S-AWC system.( super all wheel control) sents diff amount of torque to wheels depending on which has the most grip. and its not just front and back, its separated to 4 diff wheels. the evo x is really mod friendly. ( and cheaper) a cobb accessport can already give you at least 30-50hp, after that exhaust. the thing is, you have to get past the interior, it has awesome recaros, but no height adjustment. theres 2 transmissions, a 5spd manual and 6 speed twin clutch automatic( super fast shifts, some say even faster than the m3 automatic) yeah too bad no 6spd manual but the 5 speed is a lot stronger. besides it space for 5 people! YOU CAN PUT THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE IN IT, AND SCARE THE LIVING HELL OUT OF THEM WHILE YOU TAKE THOSE TIGHT CORNERS. |

The would be my next choice an IS-F or M3. |

i would feel the same as kgreen: i would want to try other brand, having already owned a z. however, it would be easier for me to find a suitable replacement since i am not as picky :)
|
If ur staying in the 30k-35k range and want a sports car, I like the z and the stang. Let us know what u do.
|
dont hate me guys but i went ahead and took the deal on the SS. searched everywhere in this city and found nothing i like and buddy gave it to me at his auction price so it is a damn good deal. my plan is to keep it for about a year since 2011 i will be out of town for work alot so i will be bringin plenty of extra cash then purchase something i really want. everything is out of my range right now since this came in unexpectedly.

I wish I could've found one when I myself could finally afford to buy my first car. Instead, I ended up with a '76 Firebird, which was kind of a POS. :shakes head: |

But, you know, different strokes, yada, yada, yada. I'm just happy the OP is back on the road. :driving: |
I like the front and rear views. I think it looks odd from the side.
