Nothing like down-shifting from 6th to 4th going 80MPH without worry! :P

Its all fun and games until you forgot you turned it off.

leave the H&T for the track, normal driving doesn't need it.

i do it all the time its fun. normal driving also doesn't require a car to have more than a 150 hp FWD econobox.;)

exactly sometimes I wonder why I got a sports car. I never go faster than 120km/h on the road.

i had a ton of fun driving around my area the other night, i dont think i went above 60 the whole time but it was a blast banging through the gears. :driving:

yes and "blasting through the gears" get you locked up

haha, do you really think that after driving this car exclusively for 8 months i can't drive it smoothly? its a pretty clunky transmission if you don't adapt to its quirks, but if you do, you can drive it and have it feel like your driving an auto when you shift.

I am talking about cops :roflpuke2:

flying through the gears means sporty driving which is cop pulling over stuff.

hah i thought you meant blasting through the gears that i lock up or something like lock up the wheels by shifting into the wrong gear. i think i was doing like 10mph over the speed limit tops at any point

Vegitto-kun 12-20-2010 04:40 PM

Haha, the speed limit isn't even the problem. any form of sporty driving, fast acceleration, even abit of wheelspin = reason to get pulled over

yea. its lame. i haven't gotten pulled over in my 370z yet. i got pulled over in my altima once for going 40 in a 30 but just got a warning, since it was obvious they were just looking for drugs. i try to be smart about where i 'have some fun'

Vegitto-kun 12-20-2010 04:45 PM

I got pulled over last night, traffic jam, cop behind me smelled the petroll smell from my car and pulled me over.

I have long tube header, he basically gave me a week to change back to stock cats and then go back to their office to show it.

Speed does not kill, speed is not evil! It is inappropriate speed in an inappropriate environment. There are a lot of other factors that "contribute" to road accidents/deaths. These other factors are not measurable and hence government can not measure and "tax" you for them. Their motives are not honourable, they are purely seeking an extra form of revenue under the guise of "road safety"! AND......we cop it sweet don't we?

jesus christ, have they nothing better to do? so what are you gonna do? throw on your cats for a week? have them check and go back?
