OP, I never thought your post was motivated by anything other than complete shock that you would not get a good response from another Z owner. You keep giving those compliments  |
I've received the same indifferent response from almost every 350z owner I cross paths with and a lot of 370z's I run up along with on the road. Older z model owners have a lot of questions about the 370 and seem to like to talk about the cars. Mostly other 350z owners refuse to look over, so I just stare at them as long as I can as I pass by. ha ha.
I would expect indifference from other drivers if we both were driving Maxima's or Altima's. When I'm driving my Astro van I don't wave at other Astro van drivers I see. However most people buy a Z because it's a cool car, which means the owners have something more in common other than I need a car to drive. |
i had a kid in a 79 280 pull up next to me and say i like your style. i had seen him in my rearview and was rolling my window down already so i said i liked his z, he said. "the rear end is kinda messed up so im going to play around with it.. wanna see?" i said ya and he laid down some tire.

I think the 350z crowd is the least friendly out of all the Z generations. Just my personal experience.

Not everybody is into cars and really cares much what others are driving.
I don't say hi to everyone that has the same truck as me. |
Just don't stop waving hi to 350 owners because of comments in here. Just makes the scene worse
