Dynamating

Can someone tell me definitely if dynamating the car car result in warranty being voided? I was told maybe this was the case..not sure but maybe..

If you remove interior panels to dynamat, then later have problems with said interior panels, a case could be made to deny warranty service on said panels. Aside from that, there really is no warranty implication unless you do something stupid, like dynamat your radiator.

"Dynamat" is a rubber/asphalt sheet with adhesive backing that is used in automobile sound deadening and vibration dampening applications.

kewl! Thanks!

There really is nothing in the way of sound deading back there. When I had all my panels out today I was surprised to see just a couple of areas covered. A few square feet in total.

Steve, great idea about the radiator. That thing is LOUD!

Yeah, on the highway the people in the car next to you could be listening to Barry Manilow, and you can hear it through your doors.

Crap, now the words to "Mandy" are in my head!

This is really a non issue. It would take some seriously twisted logic for Dynamat to be a warranty issue.

KillerBee370 12-08-2010 11:56 PM

I think this would definitely void any warranty...
