Dynamating
Can someone tell me definitely if dynamating the car car result in warranty being voided? I was told maybe this was the case..not sure but maybe..

If you remove interior panels to dynamat, then later have problems with said interior panels, a case could be made to deny warranty service on said panels. Aside from that, there really is no warranty implication unless you do something stupid, like dynamat your radiator.

There really is nothing in the way of sound deading back there. When I had all my panels out today I was surprised to see just a couple of areas covered. A few square feet in total.
Steve, great idea about the radiator. That thing is LOUD! |

Crap, now the words to "Mandy" are in my head! |
This is really a non issue. It would take some seriously twisted logic for Dynamat to be a warranty issue.

I think this would definitely void any warranty...

Clarion, also makes a 'dynamat' type product, which comes in rolls and is much cheaper, did my entire trunk space for $138.00.
Make sure you get a quality 1-2 inch hard rubber roller like you use in counter top installation if you apply it yourself. You get a good bond an no air pockets. Huge improvement on road noise lvl btw. But even better for the upgraded sound system ,none of that good "noises" escapes.Best of all you wont need to crank the tunes up to hear music over the road noise. |
