Lets have some laughs

I have an idea for some fun and laughs. Lets each tell stories about how we sold our wives ( or husbands or significant others) on the idea of us buying a Z,., My wife still thinks this is a small economy car designed to save us money on fuel each year..:icon18: (All boys love toys!)
only kidding..seriously she thinks that at my age ....why the hell not???!!!
My grandson who would rather be caught dead than seen with his grandpa now wants me to pick him up at school!! Lets hear some fun stories..

junior_jam 11-18-2010 08:40 PM

Wife cheated.
Day after separation papers were signed = New Z.
Word.

frost 11-18-2010 08:41 PM

It was a choice between letting me get my car, or her getting the card.

I'm the bread winner. I work hard and play hard. She gets to drive the Z, too.

You have caused me untold misery!! ( LOL) I am recovering from prostate cancer surgery and one of the problems is "leakage". I have these pads that you wear under your underwear.. on one side is an absorbent material and the other is a very sticky layer that sticks to your underwear to keep this pad in place.. I was laughing so hard at your post while changing that I got the wrong side in the wrong place!! The result was the absorbent part was against my undies and the sticky part stuck to my private parts!!!! Oh my God trying to get my private part lose was so damn painful!!! ha ha ha!! all thanks to you!

SmoothZ 11-18-2010 09:15 PM

tmi!!!

Mike 11-18-2010 09:22 PM

no convincing necessary. she knows I have a disease, and when I want a new car, I get it, usually within the next day or two when the bug hits, no questions. she gets new ones when she wants too though.

drew 11-18-2010 09:24 PM

I got her to trade in her car for a suv, so since we got a bigger vehicle I should get a sports car b/c there's no need for me to have a sedan-type car :)

That's all right, Frost has anal leakage, but that was the result of a 6 month stay in County thanks to his snow addiction.

way too much information there:ughdance:

Mt Tam I am 11-18-2010 10:54 PM

Last time I bought a car, I was questioned as to why she was not there to help in the decision process. I responded that it was to be my car and I did not care about her opinion :stirthepot: but next time she could come along. Since then she has bought two or three cars and my opinion was not obtained because she will drive them. Sounds logical to me.

This time when I bought the 370 I did invite her to come with me, because I remembered. I rejected her input about getting an automatic so that she too could drive it. Why? Because it is the car I will drive, and I drive manuals. A topic of dozens of conversations over the years. Didn't she remember why I just had a SH one T attack with the salesman about the GTR? It only comes in automatic.

I do believe most men without women in their lives will be found dead in their own filth from an easily prevented disease.

dixon cider 11-18-2010 11:41 PM

It was easy. My wife found something else to drive...... her ex-boyfriend. So I bought the Z to make love to. She is also the reason I took up a hobby..... http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...beerfunnel.gif

Don't get your panties in a bunch? it was only in fun and not to be taken seriously, Thats evident by the Op's response.

ImportConvert 11-19-2010 12:40 AM

If I were interested in dating, I wouldn't ask my partner what they thought about how I was spending my money. This is a non-issue for non co-dependant people I think.

If you view women as equal to men, and think they should not be hit purely because their physical structure is less conducive to violence, as a whole, do you then also have a rule that any man who appears weaker than you who wants to get into it with you is automatically safe from physical violence on your part "End of story...not even joking."?

-or-

Do you view women as having different value/rights/responsiblities than men based purely on their sex?

Are you sexist? If so, let us know/don't respond and we will get it. If not, explain the position you have taken. I am curious about it.

I have always wanted one. I am single with no kids but starting to date a chick with a 3 year old. The 2 seater sends out the right message.

butdamnbrian 11-19-2010 02:09 AM

i encouraged her to trade in her rsx for a lex. then it was only fair for me to trade up, also!

ok, i also had to promise her my buying the z didn't mean i wanted to be single. it was only one fight.

also, man... i feel for you guys who picked up the z after a marriage gone bad. glad you guys found something to dull the pain. my buddy's marriage is going south, and he's now pimping his new is-f. at least cars don't cheat!

I'm curious, too. If women wanted to be treated equally, they should man up and be able to take a few hits every now and then. I also think they should help pick up the tab for Valentine's day, parties at strip clubs, and tickets to a sporting event.

Possessions > Women who try to determine your possessions.

:tiphat:

A lot of the women I am friends with do share the cost of things we do togather equally. About 6 months ago my friend Traci bought me a nice pair of Mizuno's for running. Then she paid for my gym membership initiation fee in exchange for me training her. It's not about money, it's about equality. I cover the tab sometimes, and sometimes my friends do.

Anything based on the sex or race of the individual is just an admission that that individual isn't as good as others. If that person accepts/supports it, they just agree with the assessment and should be treated as such.

Are you Sh@@ting me? Some of the folks on this sight just amaze me. Are you saying YOU think it's right to hit a woman? I'm not saying they can't push your buttons to the point that you want to do it, but it's just flat out wrong. Maybe I'm sexist, but if a guy wants to take his chances with me, that's his problem. However with a woman, it's a safe bet I'm stronger and she's going to get hurt. It's just not the right thing to do and if you think other wise than you need to go talk to your dad and grow up.:shakes head:

Well, if you would stomp a guy clearly weaker than you but not a woman, then I guess you are sexist, no maybe to it.

Good? Bad? I'm not one to judge, but I will tell you that if you would hit either a guy or a girl just because they "push your buttons", you need to take a dose of your own advice. Physical violence should be reserved for sporting purposes or self-defense, and I don't care what the sex is of the person who poses a legitimate threat to me. In that sense, yes I would hit a woman, as many times and as hard as necessary to prevent damage to myself/others, if it were required. Other than that, I wouldn't hit anyone, man or woman. The last time I hit someone out of anger was in grade-school, and that's where that behavior belongs.

Reading this thread at work is a bad idea. I have had to people walk by my office asking why I was laughing at the computer.

My wife was happy I bought the Z being that I was looking at a $60k Corvette first.

4r3s 11-19-2010 07:24 AM

I won't hit a b*tch, but I'll shake the sh*t out of her :stirthepot:

SiXK 11-19-2010 07:57 AM

I just said "I'm buying this car" and bought one the first week they were out.

and I am against hitting women (felt compelled to include this part for some reason)
