The snow is just around the corner here in my neck of the woods.

Is there a way to filter out threads? I mean I live in Socal and I don't to see threads about snow and sh!t! :)
Sorry about Mother Nature "snowing on your parade". P.s., my kids are snow bunnies! |
Playing golf tomorrow. In a week or two, I'll be clearing some significant amount of snow off the Z, I'm sure. I really can't understand why there aren't more physical attacks on weather people (not that I'm advocating that...maybe just throw something at your TV. Something soft of course. Or just hurl insults).
Effing weather. |

Atlanta FTW!!!! I don't think I could handle storing my Z away all winter

I've been driving my z for the past winters with my stock rims and wheels.
And man have I mastered the control lol! I know I should be getting snow rims and tires but I've learned so many things about this car being my DD. Do not try to snow drift unless you have experience!!!!!! I almost died one time lol! Thank God for E braking... |

if your car's pretty much stock i wouldn't worry too much about the salt. it's when you got aftermarket camber kits, springs, coilovers, bolts, etc. that corrode VERY quickly at times.
ive had very bad experience with tein and tanabe springs in the past where the paint just shattered off the coils from maybe 2months of heavy salt driving in the winter time, shaft threads corroding, etc, etc. |
Eh, I bought mine and it snowed 2 days later...i still drove it around...worked out too, because it forced me to keep it under 4000rpm :)
