Would you buy again? - Corvette Forum Looks to me like 20% more Z06 owners would buy again than 370Z owners. At least, based on polls posted on similar websites dedicated to the respective vehicles. Far from conclusive, yes, but it is an equal comparison. |
Excellent G37 picture, I would consider a G37x if I could get over having a back seat... and it is a little slow :D

No, I wouldn't buy a Z again because: Zolfix: I like variety m4a1mustang: I like variety Red_Zed: I want a back seat Rui Z: I'd buy a 2012 Miata c41006: variety HOOPZ: "Nissan Corporate customer service" spitfire9200: oil consumption, premature brake wear, noisy/annoying clutch/transmission, grinding 2nd & 6th gears, clutch slave cylinder and Nissan Consumer Affairs sucks puckshaw: I like variety and not enough power Mazaki: I grew, Z stayed the same size Lots of guys lookin' for variety. So maybe Z owners are more "free spirits" than the Corvette guys (or just playahs!)! :) |

They have a cake option with one taker...

I'd put the check towards a GT-R. I'm just waiting till the 2012's come out then I'll pick up an 09 for 50k
|
I wrote mine off and DID buy again.. :)
|
I would for sure buy again. After owning 6MT and 7AT both tour/sport the only thing i would bo different i'd get a blk nismo. No wheel upgrade, no bodykit, just shave the nissan emblems tint the windows and Hd and tail lights, space and powder coat blk the wheels. O and a little TT kit. :tiphat:

Something like that. Either way, for the cost of that transmission, ANY! problem is scary. Besides, you can bet you will have no warranty as pretty much everyone is bound to turn VDC off sooner or later. |
I really like this car.
In the past 6 months I have gone through 3 cars and 370 is my 4th one and I think I found 'the one' |

At the same time, maintenance on GTRs in 4 times the cost of 370s. This is what turns me off. The maintenance costs and any person waiting for the GTR prices to drop so they can afford one will have a very unpleasant surprise waiting for them. Trans + both diff fluid flush will run you $2000. Brakes $4000 + Tires $1600 + and these cars eat tires because of their weight. Oil changes are $135 cheapest. on and on So once again, anyone waiting for GTR prices to drop, don't overlook the maintenance costs. And if something breaks engine component/trans, repairs will be in $10,000s |

Trans and both Diff fluids will run you $1300. I know this because I help out my buddies with their GTR all the time. Call it GTR TAX, everything for that car is 4 times as much as a 370. |

It's all good, that's probably why I wanted a flashy car in the first place. XD |
I did. Traded '09 coupe for '10 roadster.
