2011

From the Nissan web site no changes. Grab a 2010. I purchased a base 2010 black new for 27000 plus tax 5000 off MSRP also found a 2010 sport & touring for 33000.00 also 5000 off MSRP also black. I went for the base because I plan to drive the car to Starbucks on the weekend.

The sport & touring are great.

not sure if those prices will exist in south fla where everything is marked up but they do sound damn nice. I guess id like to know the next version, and if its minor, then i could grab the 2010s while dealers try to get rid of them.

1 new color.
The addition of a rear view camera. I think you can select it for any model.. not sure on that.

the million dollar question is:
they fix the oil consumption problem for 2011 models???

NiZZZmo370 10-28-2010 01:52 PM

Oil consumption problem? I guess I've been out of the loop on this one! :)

I check my oil level at least once a week and neither my 2009 or my 2010 seemed to use any oil between changes.

2011 Changes

- Back up camera either an option in the mirror, or comes with nav
- New color added
- No longer an up charge for black cherry

I would actually agree on this, I never felt it being a problem...Especially like some of the old 350Z's.

Is the new color Burnt Orange? and a dumb one but how do you have a backup camera without a screen? (or is it just the backup sensor?)

There is a small screen in the mirror, if you don't have the nav head unit

really? Ive never heard of this, but sounds intriguing. Even if it would be way smaller than the LCD version.

I's nice that they are trying this mirror "display" in the 370 but I don't know how useful it will really be! I would assume my Nismo won't have this but I guess I'll see when it gets here. :)

Most of the vehicles (except of course my Zs) have/had back-up cameras and they are useful but I've found that using my mirrors is still the better choice for backing up in most cases.
