Ahh, my bad.

im89 10-21-2010 05:59 AM

what if you dont get the navi but get the mirror with the back up and homelink...would you be able to go aftermarket and keep the rearview mirror with a back up camera for the navi..i know this might kind of defeat the whole purpose of getting the mirror with the rearview but i just want to know my options. The only reason im asking is because i use the homelink right now with my car and it would be really cool to keep that feature and have a back up camera until i go aftermarket.

i honestly just think that the colors are off, i really don't think that the '11s have a red button, but i could be wrong.

Gentex seems to be the OEM for the rear view mirror camera, not the NAV camera functionality.

Getting the GTR button for my 2010. It's just sexier then the lit button.

:iagree: i can see the appeal of it still. i think it has to do with the whole 'don't push the red button' thing

Still no new colors for the Nismo other than the new Gunmetal. It's a shame they're not offering it in Black Cherry or Monterey Blue.

LuckyJinx 10-21-2010 04:20 PM

I want my nismo in that 40th an.

i guess black cherry its not a special color anymore.. now i feel like i wasted 500 that could've been my g3 cold air intake

wilsonp 10-21-2010 06:06 PM

It wasn't wasted - you drove your car for a while. How much was that worth to you?

Getting many things early costs money, your color is one of them.

They REALLY need to bring back Orange - loved that color on the 350's (and Muranos).

i agree! The 370z is a sporty car by nature, either owned by a young person, or as a second "weekend" car by an older person. Either way, this car was meant for more stand out colors.

It was a Toyota Camry or a Dodge Minivan, then I could see why they would decide to go with a conservative color palette. But given that its a sports car, Nissan needs to step it up and offer some more variety.

In some regards, Nissan lags behind BMW, which I believe offers more customization straight from the OEM, at a price however.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with built to order. BMW has a great colour palette. We need to see orange, green and perhaps various shades of red and blue. A candy apple red would be nice. No more shades of grey please!

ThoriumHotdog 10-22-2010 12:20 PM

Spotted this today. I'm guessing that it's just a photo shopped 370z to show the gun metal.

Looks to be part of a contest in France.
