Mine is a door ding magnet. I am also thinking that the aluminum doors have something to do with the ease in which it gets dinged.

I park away from people but still have had 3 dings. I have yet to get the last one taken out but the other two were fairly bad. My first ding was on Day 2 of owing the car.

People could care less about hitting your car when they get their fat arses out of their cars.

My car is a DD, but I park a mile away from anyone and if that's not an option, I usually find a ride or skip the objective all together.

I saw a 911 Turbo wait for a minute so he squeeze in between a couple of minivans yesterday, just so he could be close to a store entrance - this did not compute.

12 days? You have been posting here forever. Did you get a new one? or both of you have Zs now?

parking far away does not eliminate the threat completely. Some *** hat will always come and park next to you.

Not much to tell. Dude in late 90's rustang bumped my door, pretty clearly intentionally. Wasn't getting in or out of the car, hit my car with the passenger door, despite the fact that he was driving, etc. Looked like he was going to hit it harder, but tried to stop when he noticed me. Still wound up hitting my car.

Decided the jail time for killing him probably wasn't worth it for a door ding.

Nah, he hopped in his car and peaced out after he saw me. I'm not the scariest looking dude, but I'm pretty sure he pissed his pants.

Viera 10-18-2010 05:15 PM

29k miles and 1 door ding on my passenger side :/

junior_jam 10-18-2010 06:11 PM

20k+ miles. No door dings (yet....knock on wood).

Don't ask about the time I backed too far in teh garage into my cabinets :). It's small, but bugs the crap out of me.

It's hard to avoid dings and scratches when driving in my country. The Z has 3 small dings (one from rock hitting the roof) and some small scratches from careless people. I'll have the PDR guys taking care of these pretty soon.

I hope your hubby appreciates you.

Re: Or you could get a woman who's not a pampered, whiny biotch. Perhaps it's more witch than bitch. If she gets wet, shes' afraid she will melt, a la "Wizard of Oz". We all know she is being ridiculous. Life is too short, but if picking your battles and quarelling over parking is important to you, then be my guest. If she was like this all the time, she'd still be waiting where I dropped her off.

If your avatar is actually you then I hope your hubby (lucky S.O.B.) really appreciates you.

Haha. It's actually me, thanks. I believe he does. I got a good one. :)
