Besides, yellow is clearly visible and is a good thing for a fast and assertive driven car.

someone likes being issued tickets :p

eventually i do want to change the paint on my car to something unique. midnight purple is :yum:

I paid 8000 to repaint my C6 show quality with 2 coats clear, wetsand, 3 more coats, wetsand and polish. It sure was pretty though

I asked the day I bought mine, if I could custom order, with Nissans own cobalt green paint, as on my '95 ZX. Answer was quite emphatically "No way" . I figured case closed. I lucked out in the end. The green made the car hot in the sun where as the silver reflects better.

I say get a Vinyl Wrap for under $3k

You can pretty much go for any color you like, or even custom graphics.
Then pull it off at any time if you change your mind or sell the car :tiphat:

Why don't you just buy the car in yellow, that's a stock color already, just alil harder to find.

First, I really want yellow or orange, colors offered by the Nissan are SO BORING for a sportscar. It's a shame I've missed a chicane yellow. Second, the factory paint job is really poor quality, compared what I'm used to.

Just to let you know, the price of partial disassembly, paint job and assembly is 3400$. I think it's worth it

I was under the impression that the 2011 models couldn't be ordered yet?

And that no one even knows diddly squat about them except for an alleged hybrid 370Z?

Am I wrong about this?

If he's buying new he'd have to hope there's a 2009 in yellow still hanging around. I highly doubt that's the case since it was a one year color.

I can agree the paint job on the 370's for a 35 to 40 grand car could be better. it's something a buyer should know going in. any money spent re painting the car is money gone. you will never see it at resell or trade in.

pick the color you like best and protect it the best you can...........

so far, there is one 2009 chicane yellow in Germany, but it is not fully loaded and as a test car it has few thousands kilometers on it. not exactly what I'm looking for. ;)

I'm going to order my 370z at the beginning of January, calculating with 4 months of delivery time. There is no point of getting a new 370z in the middle of bloody cold winter here.
