After 22 years as a combat air crew member in the Air Force (3 Vietnam tours),
and 20 years working for a aerial survey company, I spent the last 19 working for a Harley dealership. And yes had several Harleys. Would still be working, but covid shut the dealership down. So forced into retirement. Guess it was time. Been working since I was 12 years old.

Had a 06 G35, ‘10 G37, and now a ‘14 370Z I got in 2019. At 45 I’m having fun with the Z and it doesn’t break the bank!

You've been productive your entire life, and I salute you for that. Now it's time for you to enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you so much for your hard work.

I believe there is something to this. If you just quit and get cars that are easier to get in/out, then you're going to get older faster. You need to do little things every day that keep you limber and keep up your muscle and giving up one thing after another will just make you old and tired.

That's awesome Nightrain. Thank you for your service.

I'm not a Facebook fan, but caved in after coaxing to try Facebook Marketplace to get rid of an old hottub. Wow, it's active. It didn't sound like you were quite ready to retire so if you're ever bored, throw on an ad in FB Marketplace for your HD services and I bet you'll get the chance to turn some wrenches again. Plus, you get to take jobs as you want or pick and choose the ones you want.

Best luck to you.

You are only Old in your Head. You are never to old to enjoy life so Enjoy your Z. I am 62 and loving it every second I drive it. Is my Toy car for the Weekends only.😎

vtec to vvel 02-18-2023 09:18 PM

Who cares about what society thinks/dictates as "too old" for anything?

F*ck what anyone thinks, and you do you. The good thing about the Z is that it's a very universal and is an all-age friendly vehicle, and gets better with age.

Dreadnaught 02-18-2023 11:39 PM

^ Agree.

I don't give a fvck what people think about me. I do what I want. Too many people live their lives based off of other peoples ideas of them.

BlackCherry Z 02-19-2023 12:39 AM

I hope NOT!!!! I am 68 years old and still love my Z. I have to admit, I don't drive it as aggressive as I used to but on occasion, like almost every day you just "need" to!!!!:driving:
