Auto downshifting. WTF?!

It probably doesn't have to "know" which gear you're into, it simply has to understand that you're downshifting. That means all the downshifts possible, from 6th to 2nd.

I really hope this is an option. My god. If it's stock and impossible to deactivate, I think it'll be better to buy the 7 gear with paddles. Or giving up and buying another car. Damn.
