Auto downshifting. WTF?!

how is that possiable? The car can't auto downshift for u on a manual trasmission car. What's the point getting a manual if the car gonna do all the fun

What's the point getting a manual if the car gonna do all the fun work for u? But if this is true ur telling me in a manual trans (not touching the shifter) u will see the shifter automatically downshift for u? Haha I dunno this makes sense in an automatic not in a manual.
