I used to be really annoyed by this, but then i realized you don't need the fob with you to open the trunk if the car is unlocked. so you can still pull over, drop someone off and they can open the trunk without you having to either get out and do it for them or give them the key

agreed, but my hands actually secrete detail spray, so it actually just leaves my car looking nice and shiny
