Read my post again..... Do a little analyzing and see if you make sense....
Thanks.
If you fail, I will type the same post in more comprehendible way just for you...

This may also be read as: They are GT cars, or sports cars, not dragsters!

Perhaps you meant: Their cars are GT cars, or Sports cars, not dragsters!

This is the370z.com though not theGrammarZone.com so I'll just be quite.

Thank you... It is sad/annoying that some people don't know the difference between they're/their, you're/your etc...

The only thing you pay for with the increased price is better materials and for the name.

Porsches are just like Apple Iphones, they are over priced for what you get. There are tons of other phones out there that has similar features for less.

It would be different for me if I was filthy rich. If I was rich then I wouldn't mind buying a Porsche.

I read up to the 7th page, and I cant believe no one brought this up! I have owned over 20 cars from all over the world. Now I quoted to make a quick point. I have bought a number of cell phones as well. I have had 4 apple I phones. I now currently have a Droid, and I will be switching back to the Iphone within the next few weeks.

My reasoning behind this is, When there is a problem with my droid, they send me a phone number and have me call someone to discuss and it never gets resolved.

This reminds me of Nissan, I have had my car in the service Dept for a bad throw out bearing and other various things. Every time they told me that the symptom is "normal". Customer service is shoddy, and I even was told by my SALES person, that he gave me a key when I had the IOu for one, then he proceeded to call me a liar to his manager.

When I drove a BMW, Audi, even a corvette, the service department was more than helpful, and would replace parts for even preventative maint. They would make sure all of my concerns were addressed, and even would call me to see if I wanted a car wash.

At apple, When your Iphone is having trouble, You go to a retail location and they will fix it or replace it altogether.

THIS is what people pay for. The service behind the initial purchase.

Dont know what you are anal izing but you said the Z numbers were wrong and I said then the porsche numbers were to and if you correct the z numbers then correct the others numbers too and you get the same result, the Z getting beat. I tell you what just go race one and then post it on you tube for us to see.

Mine is a manual as well.

12.6 was done with my mods plus gears and long tubes . The Z does not disapoint. I'm guessing we will see better times as weather cools . We need more 12 sec Z's!

After the same mods the porsche isback on top. were are going stock for stock in this thread.

Grow up, little boy!

By the way, why do you have a picture of a sedan for your avatar, but claim to race a Z?

Here is some basic drag racing education....

13.8 @ 103mph that i got with my Z was done by having a 2.5x 60ft time. Generally every 0.1 of a 60ft time will yield 0.2 off of your ET...
A decent launch with a RWD street car is 2.1 60ft time that means I sucked launching the Z yet still got 13.8.

So by following this fact proves that the magazine number that the OP posted for the Z is either bogus or sucked at launching the car. But the problem is that magazines can do infinite launches to get the best time unlike myself. I was limited to 2 runs.

When the little boy wakes up, he might start spitting on you. Don't act like a little kid and grow up kiddo.

AND AGAIN, that probably applied to all 3 vehicles.

And AGAIN that can NOT be applied to all 3 vehicles because the other vehicles are known for those 1/4 mile times by other magazines and board but the Z isn't!

370s trap 105-107 in good DA and put down low 13 1/4mile numbers

Ive seen other car mags and what not post a 5.1 0 60 time for the 370Z and some that have noted 4.6, so there is a big swing for the Z. It might be when and where they did the test for all I know but the Z is not a 4.6 all the time car. And Ive seen the porsche numbers lower too out there.

And i agree. Track location/day/weather can swing the ET by almost a full second... But getting the slowest posted time from one magazine and comparing to one of the faster times from the other car is not the way you would compare two cars.

zeroto60 shows a 3.6 for the 09 carrera s so they havent used the lowest but I think the porsche have a more stable zone as they launch beetter than the Z does on the avg.
