Curb weight/gross weight

what is the differance in the two? curb weight is 3300 LBS and gross is 3968LBS.

Gross weight is curb weight plus load capacity. The Z is rated to carry roughly 550 lbs of cargo (including passengers).

If his numbers are correct, it's 668lbs of cargo/passengers. 550 seemed like it would be easily exceeded by some fat couples.

The true measured weight is considerably higher. Something like 3374 for a Touring Sport, so that gives you just under 600 lbs. Don't know where I pulled the 550 from, probably my a**.

thanks, the only info on the door was gross weight. i had to look up the curb weight. Im setting up my G Tech Pro portable dyno and i needed to know the weight of the car for it.

Then look up the "as tested" weight, the curb weight is apparently without any fluids.
