370z challenger srt8
a little birdie told me that a 370z can pull on a challenger srt8 from 100 to 140:ughdance:
|
not a big surprise..... Z is pretty slipery at high speeds along with G35/37s.
|
how did you race a boat on land?
|
Spec wise it should be faster...

Challenger srt8s have only .2 seconds faster than the 370Z 0-60, pretty much a driver's race straight line
|
Yup those and the Chargers are easy targets at the track, I killed Both R/T versions and a SRT at Byron Raceway last fall :)

Such nice looking cars in my opinion, and great motors. They just need to hop on the wagon and realize that the style works, but the weight does not.
|
Challengers look pretty but fail at driving. Thus the reason I bought the Z

how come nobody can make a perfect car?
its either perfectly balanced but underpowered or vise versa. when its got both, its 80k+ bucks. |

Yep the weight kills it, i was going to go with a Camaro SS, but the car is so heavy considering.

I still love the Challenger ads. |
The best challenger add is the George Washington one. :usa:

Hey m4a1mustang, still the best ad EVER! (For a car guy, and yes, I know it's the Charger.) Everytime the transition to the talking to the sound of the V8 revving, I get this snarky snarl on my face, and just feel like saying, "Yeah! My car! Eat my carbon footprint!"

But yes the Challanger/Charger are both great low end torque cars, in a straight line LOL. I just sold my Dodge Charger V8 HEMI to get the 370Z Nismo, and I love it. Oh, and here's a video of a Lotus on Top Gear: |

Go to the drag section ande watch my videos of me racing the SC Mustang and dodge srt. " Z Eliminator dragf videos.
he ran a 14.15 to my 13.08. Z |
The amount of power those Challengers put down after a S/C, exhaust, tune, etc. is pretty ridiculous....nearly doubling the Z at that point.
I'm not a fan of the new Challengers though. They made them WAY too big for my taste. |

I predict the next retro muscle car will be a Baracuda. Or a Pinto.
