Sometimes you have to just show up in person. But yeah, that's lousy of them.

Wow. Loved the video. Full of great information, and shows you the same car driven by two different folks can elicit a very different response.

Makes me excited to drive the 370z, and almost glad I waited instead of jumping on before the 370z. Not interested in getting the 300, even though I loved that car. It rusted like crazy in Minnesota winters (I drove it year round), and it started having leaky fuel injectors at around 65,000 miles, and was annoying as hell, but would have cost too much money to fix. The leather seat also split.

I want a new car.

Again, thanks for the enlightening and very fun video.

Thank you. I liked the comparisons and felt they really knew the 300. I saw their review of the automatic transmission. Did this sway you towards manual?
As much as I loved my old car, there is no substitute for a 15+ year newer car. Compared to our youth, now that we are old, the 370 seems inexpensive. Enjoy your investment in yourself.

I did it!

Parked in my garage is my (new to me) 2009 Nissan 370z, 6-speed, Sports package, Touring, navigation system, with 4,800 miles (300 of which I put on it today).

And it's RED!!!

I'm thrilled. I even washed her to get the bugs off her before I put her to bed. After a 12-hour driving day for me, half of it in my new Z, I was exhausted, but couldn't put her to bed with all those bugs on her. I'm exhausted but THRILLED!

Congrats! When's the party? I can come over and help detail your car!

Why'd you get that awful color?

Congratulations! I've read this particular threat with interest. Glad to hear it all worked out for you. You'll find that things get a little bit more fun now when you step into the garage and find this gem sitting there waiting for you. Those trips to wherever aren't so boring any longer. Enjoy!

Help detailing?

When's the party? Every time I drive that beauty!!

Thanks for the congrats. I'm really excited -- until the snow flies and I have to park her. But until then, watch out!

I do a fair amount of driving for my job on freeways and county roads. I'm looking forward to arriving at those jobs, and, after a long day, relishing the fact that I get to park myself in the most gorgeous car in the lot on the drive home. Ahhhh.

Hey, we now have identical cars.

I'm having a wee bit of trouble getting used to the synchorev, which I was so excited about.

I take it you cannot delay putting the car into the next gear or it goes crazy. I've got it (almost) handled on the upshift, which was never calling for a delay, but can't get the hang yet of the downshift. I think it's a holdover habit from previous driving and trying to avoid what the upshift now takes care off -- getting that huge rev out of the engine. Maybe it just takes a little time and practice.

Congrats on the new (used) Z! I hope you got a great deal.

I think you'll appreciate the Touring upgrades, especially if you do a lot of driving.

I like the way you think. Hopefully, we'll meet soon at a Z gathering.

Wings and Wheels in Osceola, WI is coming up on Sept 11th. If you need details, let me know. The group meets at a Perkins off I-35 and Co Rd D or E up north of Roseville. We take the back way into Osceola.

nice job getting the car. Put some miles on it, enjoy it, wash it, love it.

I feel like it was a good deal, since it was very, very close to new, has all the bells and whistles, has the lighted Z on the base when you open the door, has the floor mats, the carpeted trunk, every option possible with the touring and nav. He even put a European fog light in the back, below the back bumper, that I have to try to get hooked up. They don't yet make a connection for it.

$30,000.

The sticker said $40,695 (I'm sure he didn't pay sticker) and it's got less than 5,000 miles on it. So a 25% cut off sticker was, I felt, a good price.

It is pristine.

He threw in a car cover and a sunshade for the windshield.

Thanks, Dave! I'll keep that in mind.
