Louisville=Mustangs and Hondas
|
I live in a town of about 60,000 and there are three people that I know of that have 370Zs (one of them is my cousin), I'm the only one with a Monterey Blue Z.
I see waaaay more Camaros and Mustangs. It's odd that I've only seen a few of the new Challengers, new Vettes are more common. The 370z is one of those cars that you'll notice if one rolls up next to you and I can count on one hand the times that I've seen one in the Golden Triangle area of Texas, and one is a forum member here. I prefer that it stays that way, I didn't want to drive something that you'll see all over the road. |
I hope it will keep this way. Make my car looks special :tup:

I've only seen two 370's in the past month here in OKC. I see a lot of 350's on the way to work, but never any 370's. I'm ok with that. :)

Albuquerque has over half a million and I hardy ever see 370s. I'm sure a huge reason you see camaros and mustangs everywhere is that a lot of people want a sporty car but you really have to be in the right situation to be able to own a car with no backseat. The camaros and mustangs are the family car for a lot of people, and they just don't have the option to get a Z. I bought my Z for fun and I have an SUV and an old nissan frontier to drive when I need something else.

In the past week of commuting to and from work I'd say there have been at least 5 instances where I was NOT the only 370Z at a stop light (heading in the same direction, no less!).
I guess a lot of this can be attributed to the wealth of this area and the fact that our unemployment rate is far below the national average, so everyone's making money and is spending it accordingly. The only thing that's going to save the 370 from being as popular as the 350 around here is the fact that Nissan has scaled back production compared to the 350s, so they won't end up quite as popular, but I know I'll count on seeing a handful whenever I drive somewhere. |
I have seen about 3 Zs on the road in my entire life.
A black 350Z,black 370Z and a platinum graphite 370. at the track there was one pearl white Z. so in total I have seen about 5 Zs other than my own one. |
We see an occasional 350Z but 370 Z's here in Western PA are few to none.

I have seen 0 while driving my 370z.

I'd probably say the price is a huge reason.
How many of the mustangs or camaros that you see actually break the 25k price? Most of them are probably base models. Most of the mustangs that I personally see are base. THey are both affordable cars for under 25k. How many 30k+ sports cars do I see on a daily basis? Much less. 4-seaters are much more conventional as well. They are obvious choices when looking at space for sports cars. |
I've only seen a handful in my area too.

There all down getting TT kits installed... well thats my excuse:tup:

Other than Z meets, I hardly see any down here in south FL. Maybe one every few weeks?
