You see sir, some, well one person felt that the 370Z doors did not clunk as loudly as his Miatia so he figured that since it didn't clunk the 370Z and its doors were not on par with his Miaita and he didn't buy the Z. So ya, thats the story in a nutshell. We've all been saving up for Miata doors since.

Hey man take it to an insurance adjuster as soon as possible, then find out what body shop you want, then call the kid or his dad and inform them that you want this fixed immediately. Most likely their insurance will cover it, if not then you will have to hire a lawyer and sue them, however they might be be able to just pay out of pocket. i was hit a month after i got my Z, and had similar damage to your car, roughly 5k, so hopefully they have a few extra thousand lying around, cuz its gonna cost a pretty penny. You Z will be in the shop for at least a week maybe two, so make sure you have the get a rental for you.
All in all, its far easier if you do this through their insurance. Goodluck let me know if you have any questions. PS- Z's are notorious for getting hit in the most ridiculous ways, so be very cautious all the time about who is around you and whether or not they are paying attention to the road. |

For what its worth, I just traded in my 3rd-gen Miata. I liked the car, don't get me wrong. But the Z is definitely more solid.
