Red__Zed 07-24-2010 10:27 PM

bummer man...

SkyZ 07-24-2010 10:55 PM

what was the kid driving a tank? either that or he was going like mach 10. it sheared ur bumper, and everything. thats a lot of damage for a car accident in a "parking lot"/gas station. usually its just a little bump at low speeds.

Im so sorry to hear that. It literally makes me ill to even think about it. What did you do and or how did you feel? So it wasnt totaled out?

That sucks dude.

Should buff right out, but the stuff on the windshield will be stubborn. Might even take a PC buffer set on 11...

bird **** on your windshield = bad luck lol

i look like i'm in my teens still so people get the wrong impression of me. i'm 22 and i paid, still am paying, for the car myself so i was beyond pissed off. usually after a bad accident people come up to you to ask if you're ok; 3 people in his car and not one came up to me. i was so pissed off i didnt realize my right ankle was swollen for a while. and no my car wasn't totaled out. body shop said it had to be $35k in damages to do so, air bags didnt deploy. out of all this, i'm glad his car got totaled: all air bags deployed, front bumper flew off, front passenger wheel was so jacked up the spring just fell out.

OP, make sure you get the right prices on your parts that need to be replaced/fix. my insurance estimated $12k+ to start off while the other guy's estimated $8k. good luck with everything.

Good catch. Those miata doors are frickin awsome!

Sorry to see your car in that condition, but glad it's not you that's hurt.

Insurance should follow the vehicle; not necessarily the person behind the wheel at the time, and they can get cited by the investigating law enforcement officer for improper driving. However insurance companies do sometimes require verification that the driver of the vehicle involved is insured, should there be a lawsuit by the other party (in this case, you).

That kid was mayham and if you bought your insurance in 15 minutes you maybe paying for the damage yourself.
