hmmm im thinking u'll be wanting a lsd if ur gonna be tracking it, u really feel the shortcomings of the stock viscous pretty soon if u track.

Looks like a good plan, I'd do a few things differently, but that's just me :)

You are the second person to mention this, i do think your both right and i need to add that to the list. Ill start shopping i suppose :/ just need to figure out where to budget it in. Have you swapped yours out? And if so what are your thoughts on them? +1 :)

Mind sharing a bit? Never can have enough input and advice. Especially from people who do what your trying to do.

Thanks!!

No i am too poor for a new lsd. BUT i have been on this site for a while following member's journals. anyone racing or anyone bringing it to the track has the same response about the LSD and the trend is to get a new one if ur serious. *some plugging here* RCZ has a site and one article was prepping ur car for track. good info there for all levels of people. 370Z Report So you think you’re ready for some track time in your 370Z?. no info on LSDS but the general consensus if ur in the market is one of 3 (quaife, carbonetics or OS giken) lots of good reviews on all of them. seems like the quaife is most popular.

Just saw this, thanks SkyZ for the support :)

What I would do different:

ENGINE / EXHAUST:
  • AEM COLD AIR INTAKE - I'd go with Stillen G3's
  • STILLEN OIL COOLER 25row w/ Heat Cut on/off bypass plate
  • NISMO DIFF COVER - what for?
  • NST PULLY SET - Only if you aren't planning on getting a supercharger later on.
  • COBB AP - Dont get this, get UpRev Osiris License as the AP will be discontinued for our car.
  • ARK X-PIPE TI EXHAUST (TYPE 2) CBE - How necessary is this? I guess you can shave some weight off, but cost/benefit? The money could be going to a diff + a normal exhaust.

SUSPENSION / BRAKES:
  • AKEBONO 40th ED SPORT BRAKES F + R - Why this? Do you have non-sport rotors?
  • STOPTECH SS BRAKE LINES, 1PC SLOTTED ROTORS - call stillen, they have something in the works.
  • HAWK HPS PADS (4 Street) - im testing out metallic matrix pads from stillen, keep an eye out.
  • WHITELINE FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS - good, but hotchkis works perfectly too.
  • RELENTLESS AUTOSPORTS 2PC FULL FLOATING ROTORS (will get around jan-feb) - get DBA 5000's, talk to stillen they will be selling them in september I think.
EXTERIOR / WHEELS:
  • 18" FORGESTAR F14s OR SIMILAR (on hold, had to loan family the money i had set aside here) - Get RPF1's

Hmm kk.

I got the AEM Intakes for almost nothing from Marco@MRworks since it was a second set he was getting rid of.

Yea after a lot of thought i think im just going to push the car as much as i can NA so NST pulleys make sense.

Ill take a look at the UpreV, couple shops in Houston i know that use it for tuning so i can just bring the car there i suppose.

Exhaust was bought a while back before i had decided on where i wanted to go with the car. Just going to hold onto it now that its there.

the NISMO Diff cover was a cheap upgrade, and its "supposedly" better at getting rid of heat then the stock cover. Ill give it a try.

As far as brakes go i have the stock touring stuff on there now, and the Sport Akebono are the cheapest upgrade. Ill take a look at the DBA 5000s.

I was looking at the RPF1s on tire rack lol, they have a set now in black that is cheap. IDK, would be nice because i wont have to wait like i do with forgestar but we shall see.

Thanks for your ideas, def helps to have the view of someone else, especially some1 who tracks their 370z a lot.
