Just a general comment on all the great colors of the 370z.
Thought when i bought my Monterey Blue i was getting one
of the rare colors but it seems like they are popping up all
over this site which is cool.just hope i don't see that many
around my area. oh and they all seem to have the sports package
they look great with the 19in rays!

The real Z's come in silver... Just in case you didn't know. :p

I noticed the same thing - lots on here, but I've only seen about 2-3 in town.

The blue is cool, but I bet the yellow or the black cherry is the real choice for a rare color. LOL

1 red
1 black
2 40th
2 silver
0 blue
0 blackcherry

I don't see too many 370s. Maybe a couple black, 1 red, 1 blue, and that's about it.

Which part of LA are you from? Ive only seen one other 40th on the 5s merging onto the 134. Maybe I am the other 40th youve seen.

^^ I agree. Have been all over the east coast and still have not seen one in person yet.

I'm a blue freak, so that's what I went with. Everyone mentions that's it's the most unique blue they have seen. Just thought the other colors were too "everyday".

Still have only seen 2-3 in town. Black, red, and silver. All 45-60y/o owners. All completely bone stock.

I'll enjoy being the only MB and modded in town for the time being.

I see a lot of Monterrey Blue's around here. Surprisingly there are not that many red ones (probably because red sucks). Black is probably the most popular in this area, followed by PG/Silver then MB/White.

All 370's look good no matter what color,well almost.
Though i have seen a couple of mustangs with a color that looks a lot
like the M Blue which looks like crap IMHO on the mustang. I'm not a mustang
hater by hell than in every driveway in Texas.Plus here most guys that drive a mustang thing there cars are the greatest. You can hardly pull up next to one without them wanting to race. I just laugh it off.

Yeah right theres probably over a hundred thousand yellow ones by now. buy a kid you know a pack of hotwheels and you'll see what i mean although it has corvette rims

I was the only Pearl White 370Z in the midwest for the longest time and now there are 5 ugggghhh I liked being rare

I couldn't make up my mind on color so I tried to get a custom paint job of all of the colors mixed together but they said 'poop brown' wasn't available. So i got black. I swear, if they make Poop Brown in MY2011, i am going to be so pissed.

I have only seen two other 370s on the road untill this day.

ok on francorchamps I saw about 5 but still I was the only platinum graphite there.

I very, very rarely see 370s. I used to see a silver one on my way to my last job, but I started a new job 3 months ago and have only seen 1 red one on the road in those 3 months.

It's funny. Black Cherry will be "rare" enough as it is, since it's a custom color, but because of the nature of the thing, if you see one in dark lighting, or if it's dirty, you'll probably mistake it for metallic black at first glance.

In fact, very few people notice right away that mine isn't just black. It's like a delayed reaction. We'll be talking for a few minutes and I'll hear, "HEY, is there like a maroon undertone or something? Or a brown flake?"

It's what I love about the color.

I think you have to put your best foot forward, why do think most car shows and reviews have the Z in PG, oh yeah! that just happened!

Come on, we all know Dark Cherry is the best. How many times have you come out of a store and found 6 gorgeous women trying to EAT YOUR CAR?!?!?!? :stirthepot:

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate when people use the MB acronym... There's two possibilities for MB... WTF!!??!!

I ALWAYS think that to myself too! The magnetic black guys are too cool for acronyms anwyays.

I almost bought in 09 but I waited due to a bunch of crazy posts on here concerning overheating, oil consumption, lack of oil cooler and extremely cheap paint. I didn't feel like doin the 20 dealership runs to fix problems so I got a 09 G37s instead. Now almost a year later I will be getting a Z soon.

Most popular colors in dfw that I noticed so far, 1.PG 2. Silver 3. White 4. Red. 5. Black and yellow tied 6. Black cherry 7. Blue. I only seen one since it came out. It seems though on the forum its the exact opposite.

I agree, there are two other local Z Meet guys in MB Z's so its funny how common the color is!

I love blue so it was the natural choice for me. In fact I waited until I saw one in the local inventory before I decided to go down and "talk" As you know once you do that it's all over. It's kinda like smoking a cig for the first time. That "Ahhh" sensation hits and next thing you know you are craving more and then you are smoking a pack a day. ROFLMAO. (No I don't smoke)

I would much rather have the Athens Blue though. But the MB has grown on me.

I love blue so much, that I decided to not get the Nismo Z as I really wanted to, and to just do the conversion slowly myself! Can you imagine a Blue Nismo Z?

When I first saw the blue it was in the showroom under those bright flouresecent lights, and it looked terrible, and with the Persimmon interior looked epic ghey. But I decided after seeing so many picture here that it couldn't be that bad so I decided to buy it. When they got it outside and under the sunlight the color looked like pure sex. As far as I'm concered the color is amazing and the persimmon goes well with it.

If you want "rare", there's only one my friend!
