Count your blessings. We had a brand new v6 accord get t-boned in the rain because the other driver had bald tires and spun into us. $8460 damage on a 3 month old car, just a gnat's *** below total and I couldn't get them to total the car.
 On top of that the other driver lied and said I was the one who lost control. No witnesses. No lost value claims (successful anyway) in NC. Life's a bitch. Lost my *** on that car when I sold it a few years later. Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield.
