I might roll down my windows today since it's been 5 days since the windows were tinted...but it's supposed to be 90 degrees and the humidity is killer.

So perfect in fact, that when we got back to the office, we looked up Invidia's for his STi, and I hooked him up with the same sponsor from our forum, and he's ordering the Invidia Q300 exhaust for his STi!!!!! Damn, I should have been in sales. Have you guys heard the Invidia on an STi??? Damn. It sounds good. I should have been in sales. :icon14: Quote:

All I gotta say is, Invidia makes some great stuff. Both engineering-wise (sound, looks, and performance gain), and fabrication (welds, alignment, etc). AND the best part, cost is one of if not the lowest amongst quality CBE's out there. And thanks to this forum (you guys), I learned all about the reviews of each, and also of the sponsor who I got it from.... this forum ROCKS. |

I changed my oil already.... at 500 miles on the odo, total. Oil was fine. Now you have me worried. I should check my level when I get home tonight. :icon14: |
FromG2Z- i'll take a listen when i get home~! :)
mine burns oil when i fill to the top dot on the dipstick. this was the same way on my G35C in the beginning. after the burn off (say after an oil change to top dot), i kept the oil around the 3/4 mark on the dipstick as anything more kept burning off for some reason. i could smell burnt oil too in my garage after a nice drive. after 10k miles or so, no issue... i know cause each oil change i would fill to the top dot, no smell, oil at near top dot on dipstick every other week or so i checked. :) |

My Z burned oil for around 8-10k miles (though less than 1 qt per 3,000 miles) and then it stopped. The VQs can be hit or miss... some will burn a little for a while, some will burn none, and then a few will drink the stuff up. You just need to monitor it regularly to make sure if it is burning any oil you aren't letting the oil levels get too low. And if it burns a lot you need to have it documented by your dealer.
