There's a coupon code for an Extreme Speed track event that day at Streets of Willow. $95 and I think that might include free timing also for the first 40 people. I just went tot he track recently and also will be driving back from Vegas that Friday so I'm not sure if I'll be going or not. |
Sounds like a kewl event. As a vert owner I'm not as welcome at events like that. At Watkins Glen one of the 2 driving schools allow the verts as is and one doesn't. I've just posted today in the track area asking if anybody knows of a rollbar avail. for verts that would allow us to enjoy the track days also.

Got my Christmas presents to Z delivered today.
1) Simota Fuel Gauge Overlay 2) Egg Yoke Eliminator Steath Tail light Bulbs 3) LED Map Light Bulbs 4) Evo-R Smoked Fog Light Kit 5) Evo-R FRP Rear Diffuser 6) Evo-R FRP Side Blades Only problem is I fly out first thing tomorrow morning and won't be back until after the new year. Debating on installing the body parts myself or having a body shop do them. I will probably lay the fuel gauge overlay tonight just to get my fix before leaving. |
Srenity I am not a body person and my father is one of the least mechanically inclined person I know. I installed the side blades and rear diffuser with his "help". If you have a helping hand you should be able to do it in one day. I have not tackled the tail lights or fog light so I cannot help ya there.:ugh2: The overlay took me two tries as the first time I had not seen the DIY and tried to install it dry.

You will need another person and to jack the car up and place it on jackstands. Lift it high enough to be able to drill pilot holes from under the side blades. Also you need to have somebody hold the side blades up while you eye from above to make sure they are even wth the door when looking from above. Make sure you use your hands to check that the blades are correct front to back. Do not try to view if they are correct with the wheel wells as they can look off but are correct to the wheel well. Hard to explain but it is very hard to align by site front to back. Drill pilot holes and peel tape as you go. Easiest if you put a screw at the front then back and work towards the middle. Good luck as I said I was able to do it so anybody should LOL:ugh2:
