Passed a GTR driving the opposite direction on my way to KFC to grab lunch today. Also noticed that even though I got all the quietest options, 18" resonators and RESONATED HFCs, I still set off some car alarms, especially off a cold first start of the day, but even just driving by some cars in the structure. My car's not even loud other than first start up. Car alarms are way too sensitive.

My 240z is high compression and I run a 6-2-1 header, 2 3/4" exhaust and a dynaflow at the end. It is pretty loud and one of my favorite past-times is to rev the engine a bit in parking structures to see how many car alarms it sets off. It's a blast. I should grow up some day.

Your goal should be to never grow up!

I doubt you have to worry about Onze growing up Waizzz just growing old LOL. Oh and a few days ago I started a what did you do with you Camaro today thread at the camaro forum and in 3 days it has 45 posts. I haven't been banned from the site yet but did just post how poorly the Camaro accelerates and handles compared to the Z. Also one thing I didn't like about the Camaros paddle shifter is that the turn with the steering wheel so it is hard to keep track of which paddle is which to shift.:stirthepot:

yah, that is the same way on my Honda Fit. :ugh2: hope you bought the manual camaro cause that will get old VERY quickly.

I read a review somewhere where they were knocking on the Z for not having the paddles turn with the wheel. I think that guy was an idiot and hater (the review was pretty negative)

My deal fell through with Chevy. It was going to be a 6m. They said with the payoff of the Z and the SC the banks wouldn't go along with it. They said why don't you buy the vert and get a SC later. Well hell if I cannot afford a $6000 SC for my Z how am I going to swing a $13,000 SC for the Camaro?

I agree Bruce the nice thing is always knowing where the paddles are and what they do. It is possible to have the down paddle on the up paddle side if in a turn. Oh wait you never shift in a corner right? LOL

thinking of ordering the decal since I have learned a lot from this site and its great members. anyone know how big the decal is and if it will fit on our little rear triangle windows?

It will fit there on the quarter window.

that is just dumb. the paddle needs to be stationary... can't shift while making a turn at an intersection. even a wider left hand turn i cant find the frikken paddle on the Fit while turning cause it spins with the steernig wheel. i HATE that car. :D

oh i see. sorry to hear, but the Z is so much better overall than a camaro, no?

Ken you can feel the extra weight in the Camaro. I would say that I'm comparing two very different cars. The Z is a small nimble sporty car while the Camaro is a muscle car where you need huge power to make it feel right. The Camaro I wanted was to be 680 hp and a 6m I felt that would give me the sporty feel I want.
