+rep

This stuff will be useful in the winter here in the mid-atlantic when I have all the hoses shut off to prevent the pipes from freezing!

Just started the third month of restrictive water usage. No outside water usage

Local car wash is it.

Wha..hoo!!

I'm in the same boat and have been using Griot's Waterless Car Wash with great results. You need a ton of microfiber towels but the results are quite good.

I take the wife's MDX to the $4 carwash on Kirby and they are fantastic. I'm just afraid of tearing up a rim on the guide rails with the Z.

Thanks Ken,

What about road grime? Is that why you suggested all the towels.

We finally started getting rain, but only small cells. Enough to trash the car but not enough to end the restrictions.

Oops, replied before going to the end of the thread, but at least I've got some back-up!

"Washed" mine last week for Cars and Coffee after the storm last Thursday, and it came out great.

yah, i spray a liberal amount, let it soak for about 4-5 sec then wipe off using only the clean part of that green MF towel they show. only wipe in vertical (top to bottom) motion, one pass. then turn the towel over, make another pass on a new section. after you get most of the grime off, take a fresh towel, spray lightly once again and wipe off the entire panel. :) becareful that the floor could get pretty slick if you're on tiles or smooth concrete from the over spray and drip.

i follow up with some QD at the end but not necessary. i dont recommend using this product on glass, but it wont hurt anything. i use WindowCleaner for glass. :D

it's a great product and if you use a lot of fresh towels you wont risk swirling the finish. just be smart not to drag your towel over caked on mud for instance.

Why yes!

If you take your car to a traditional Nylon Brush car wash, your car will in fact come out the other end as a caricature of its former self! Someone give KenChan & Alchemy a pretzel rod, and a balloon!:werd:
