I think they updated the WRX trans in like 05 and 09 or something. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be, which is probably good given all the extra power from the factory. It's just not on the level of the 6 speed in the STI, which for street purposes is pretty much bulletproof.

I think for a car you're driving primarily on the streets, going Cobb Stage 2 + exhaust makes a lot of sense. Stage one alone nets you ~30whp and 45wtq, which is more than enough for more.

Took front clip off and strut bar. Getting ready for install of GTM oil cooler, Gen3 intakes, GTM TP, and Greddy CBE this weekend. Also went ahead presprayed the the nuts and bolt with PB blaster about three times over this past weekend to help with the removal of stock cats.

That's why I've been spraying ahead of time. Plus I have more than enough addiquite tools along with my dads help. They weren't hard on my 350. But I see they added tha dumb bolt up top. On the the 350 you could remove three nuts all from underneth the car.

just like every other day, I looked at it in the garage. I'm anxiously awaiting my carbotech track pads. They were supposed to ship today, I hope they did, as I need them this weekend. Once they go on, the car is track only for the summer, aside from going to Zdayz.

I agree the yellow does not look good on our cars at all lol. But, I'm sure all that rain took care of it today...unless you garaged it before the downpour came. It gave my car a good washing :P

Mr. Q 02-28-2011 07:14 PM

Installed my blue titanium bolt kit washed the car then took a chunk off my rim on the curb at the bank.
