Not all Okies drive the speed limit. You must be in an area where they can't make the switch from driving tractors to driving cars. Guess they don't need a Valentine 1.

I took my oldest daughter (5 years old) with me on a spirited drive in the morning. Nothing like a cool morning in the desert, driving a Z with Japanese music playing as the daughter holds her hands out of the window and screams with childish pleasure.

Finally washed the car after the drive from Zday Fontana Village.

my work parking lot got big *** speed humps at the exit since last time I drove it there. the lip didn't scrape but the undercarriage did, big time.

lemme kick it off. being the gorgeous day that it was today 24 degrees, i just had to take the Z out for a spin. drove an hour away to some decent "mountain" trails and had a few canyon runs with the windows down. gotta say. perfect day.

edit. the internet can be a harsh place so any flamers out there who want a piece of me for starting this "useless" thread. flame suit already on. =]

There's a thread on Mazdas247 called "What have you done to your MS3 today?" and I was about to start one here right before I saw this one!

Today, I sat on the patio and admired my Z while drinking my coffee.
I was thankful all four of my RAYS wheels were still there and pleased that I finally achieved a rattle-free cabin. I tried to picture what the new rotors will look like behind the wheels.
I put a fresh coat of Rain-X on the windows.

Congrats............what did you buy?......post a pic. If you see me flash headlights twice, honk 3 times then wide open throttle to 80 and I'll know who you are...............:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

The most Z's I see around here are the 350's. Hope you bought a 370 so there is more 370Z power around here.

Jesse..............you are so right. I hate to get behind gravel, sand and dumpster trucks. Those SOB's drive so fast around here I have to break the law to stay in front of them.......but that's when my friends' detector comes in real handy.

Actually.........with this car I'm breaking the law most of the time anyway.........

So today I installed some yummy new StopTech rotors:

During the install, I learned that the locking lugnuts the dealer provided for me were all wrong. It became obvious when the top of one of them split away from the rest of the nut. It basically looked like this:

Who puts conical seat lugnuts on wheels that take a flat seat lugnut?
Apparently, Lancaster Nissan does.

I ordered some new McGard locking lugnuts from Summit Racing: Summit Racing Part Number MCG-21153
These have a shank and washer like the rest of the lugnuts on the wheel, so hopefully these will do the trick.
I'll keep you posted.
