Just felt an earthquake. Felt like a gentle rollers on a fishing boat. I'm in Western NY. Looks like it was a 5.8 in Virginia.

Fire 08-23-2011 01:15 PM

Not much info yet it seems it was in a rural area of Virginia.

5.8 is good size. I hope the damage is little and injuries none.

That is almost unavoidable at the track unfortunately, I think I would swallow my pride and use some blue painters tape to cover the front bumper and side skirts if I ever get to do a track day.

Not much room there as my detail stuff and one or two chairs in a bag are always in it. Congrats for the chapionship From, I no longer play softball as I suffered a career ending finger injury a few years back. I shattered my ring finger on my right hand fielding a throw from the outfield.:shakes head: Amazing that I played rugby for 4 years in the Marines and have been a volunteer firefighter for almost 20 years, skiing for 20 years and never a broken bone until softball. Who knew it was sooo dangerous LOL:icon14:

Dang that is hardcore, fire. From softball? Yeah hopefully I can continue to play this game and detail and drive my Z.

Fire 08-23-2011 01:28 PM

From I was off work for 3 weeks. No surgery just a splint.

kenchan 08-23-2011 01:36 PM

i was playing softball when i was a kid with my buddies and one of the older kids hit a super fast drive and it came right at me. for a split second i thought about catching it but decided it wasn't worth it and called for a time-out and we all went inside for a drink while the fat kid who hit the ball went far out in the field to go fetch his prize. :icon17:

FromG2Z 08-23-2011 01:40 PM

Sounds like we need a softball thread next LOL.

Christian forgot to say that as far as chips from turn track, that's why there's clear bra ;)

kenchan 08-23-2011 01:43 PM

..and painter's tape for track events. :D

Fire 08-23-2011 01:45 PM

Always comes down to the fat kid LOL As for the chips I have a couple and they are proof that we drive our cars. I did get a pretty large one the other day when I was behind a semi hauling wood chips one came off and hit the hood.:shakes head:

FromG2Z 08-23-2011 01:49 PM

Eeeeek... All these stories of chips. U guys make me shudder. Of the things I hate the most, chips is one, swirls are two, and dirt/dust is three ;)

kenchan 08-23-2011 01:51 PM

Fire 08-23-2011 01:52 PM
