I had a TWM weighted knob and went back to stock -- I suppose I am just used to the feel.

hello mr.onzedge! the TWM's satin one does not get nearly as hot as polished knobs. seems to reject heat better. the stock knob is not bad at all. i liked it (past-tense cause mine got :owned: during removal :crying: )

i like the nismo titanium shifter too. cant make up my mind!

yah, the nismo one is definitely good. but it's very slim so make sure you like that joystick-like feel. ive always been more of a ball/type-R knob guy but the nismo made the shift very solid and crisp for me so im keeping mine for a while.

I figured I would just freshen up the Z with a bit of polishing today, not that there were any swirls but it has been about a year since I last polished it. I went over everything below the windows including the roof (polished and sealed the roof, A pillars and hatch recently) with some Meguiar's 205 polish, a grey Lake Country CCS pad and my PC 7424 since using a rotary generates too much heat which doesn't play nicely with PG paint for some reason.

I love perfect paint, metallics really pop when the paint is properly prepped!

nice~!

Kewl deadman enjoy your ride. :driving:

Today I installed my smart top. Once again something Nissan should have done at the factory. Soo many kewl things I can do with my key fob now :excited: Also got my garage door to work from my car. Programming these things are tricky sometimes. Got the car detailed and wind deflector tinted yesterday. Today going to a big cruise night at Twin Lakes Drive In in Perry NY. Things are looking Z for me today :happydance:

I drove my 370 for the first time in a week today -- also the first real drive with my new clutch return spring. I am liking it quite a bit. If you have not done this mod, you must (auto trans guys need not apply).

Parked between 2 motorcycles today.. I need a sticker on my car saying my other ride is an R1. Or something like that..

On the TWM to stock conversion. I went back to my stock knob from the TWM piston. Stock just feels better in the hand, and isnt cold all winter long. Thing is i cant get it seated tight enough now. It has some twist in it i just cant seem to get rid of.

Onze can't I put the springs on the torque converter? Or maybe on the paddle shifters? Has to be a way to make this mod work LOL

is the clutch spring something that can be DIY? My Z is my only manual car so I don't really know any other clutch feeling. Might just keep it stock..
