Went to get my carbon spoiler installed, only to find that the holes for the template that comes with it are in the complete wrong place. Thankfully I stopped the guy before he started drilling, otherwise there would be two useless holes in my hatch. I'm going to a different body shop tomorrow morning, the guy there is very confident and is highly regarded so fingers crossed third time's the charm!

Nice to hear your wife is doing better Kenchan! I'm sure your company gives her a big leg up, no pun intended... :)

Dang, that's a scary thought having two extra useless holes, glad you were able to stop the guy in time!

Thanks, yah she's been thanking me a lot. We promised to take car of each other when we got married so just doing my part. :D ofcourse I have been reminding her to watch out for revenge when she's all better. Hahaha lol ;)

Washed and did my first clay bar treatment on the Z today. Also washed the girlfriends Camry.

Tomorrow is set aside to put a nice coat of wax on the Z. Should be some great weather.

I may have to try out the new camera after the wax job. It's not anything special but it isn't an iPhone.

Which one did you get. I am sick of the three person brake bleeding experiences.

This - picked it up at my local Pep Boys for about $40:

Unfortunately, he already marked those two locations with that sharp punch tool which guides the drill bit so I have to little pin pricks in the paint and two little dimples. Thankfully they will be covered up by the spoiler!

Haha, I imagine it would be funny to come up with a revenge prank. Just watch out so that it doesn't turn into domestic war!

Nice Mityvac Luna. Hope we have gotten past all those camera posts. I was about to stop following the posts cause I had nothing to add LOL Back on topic I drove my car today after washing and QDing it. I drove it a few days ago 600 miles and it needed washing. I was test driving a fire truck and the guys showing the truck liked the car. I said it was a chief's vehicle so that I could answer calls at 140mph. NO I have not tried that. I haven't installed a red light or siren. I usually don't go above 70mph responding in my truck with lights and siren. Oh and I posted my car in the for sale section. Don't know if I really want to sell it or not. I might have my #2 car sold and would be nice not to have a car payment when I start my next project. This is my next project Wix.com lemansprototypes2 created by lmp1000 based on blank bottom I have an 800hp small block chevy ex-sprint car motor to put in it.

Yah, sucks for the dimples but atleast they will be covered up. did you put some paint on the exposed metal yet? I use a qtip and some generic enamel paint.

Haha, I think you may have missed my humorous perspective on that post. :tiphat:

On a serious note... glad your wife and car are doing well! I have done the back thing and it's no fun.

aha, rightly so... i was kinda running on fumes yesterday so my comprehension may have been lower than the usual low. :D

thanks for your thoughts, yah she's working from home (bed) today. she's remotely hooked up to her clients as well so some things she can do from home. :p

this am dropped off the kids at their summer camp again. the parking lot at the school is packed with minivans and SUV's and soccer moms and dads who dont know how to drive... so im like :eekdance: taking my pretty car (G35C) there... especially since i need to park for 5-10min to go in and sign them in... :icon14: but im so sick and tired of driving my AT HondaFit i took the G. :p

maybe next time i will drop off the kids then come home, swap cars, then go to work. lol
