You're not in control, the Z's 7spd Auto sometimes has to hunt for gears and randomly downshifts multiple times ect. when you put the pedal down just to get to the right gear. When an AT owner approaches a corner he/she has to frantically pull the paddle and wait for the car to respond to the multiple downshifts ect.
I'm pretty sure im in control when driving my AT thank you very much. The car never hunts for gears or downshifts randomly whenever in maunal mode. (Unless you rpms drop to low). In regular mode it honestly isnt an issue for me, I never notice it. The car responds very quickly when downshifting. Multiple downshifts are still fast enough to cope with the braking when going into the corner to keep the car high in the rpms.
