How different is the ZR1 vs C6 Z06?

no transmission problems or any problems at all. im still debating it but i might just stick with the vette for a little longer to see what else comes out.

I've seen a lot of Z06's and thought they were cool, but I just saw my first ZR1 up close and I got sprung. In other words, if you have a ZR1, you won't need any viagra.

I think if you do you should by a Nismo, preferrably a black one...like mine that im selling :D:D:D

you wont need viagra but the wife wont get the pleasure from it as you will shoot your load while driving the car and she wont get it.

One has resale, one just costs, both can be fun or lame, but unlike with women, you know what you are getting when you get a car.

Hence why when someone says "My wife..." Screw that. Except in the case of that one guy with no self control where his wife asked him to wait 1 month just to be sure a Z was what he wanted.

yeah vipers are bad. and they would be worse daily drivers.

The ZR1 beat the viper in 3 of 4 areas on supercars including the fastest in a mile.

The Viper is a race-car with a license plate. The 'vette will never be that "raw". However, call me whatever you want, I don't want a car that raw for the street. I would find a tree.

Zr1/Z06 are a hand-full for sure, but they at least have SOME nannys. Hence why I am more interested in a Z06 than a lightly used Viper. I fear I would get away from myself in the Viper.

I was quoted $175mo on a new Z06 FWIW. Not bad, really, single male, calculated for when I turn 25 in a few months.

I parked behind a vette today. It was in a bad part of town. I figured if someone was going to mess with a car they would pick the vette over my Z.

Vipers are the sh*t! Damn a ZR1, it's awesome too, but for the money a viper will spank that a**...a local friend had a supercharged vette but his baby is his TT viper....the most wicked ride I'll ever know. A TT viper will spank a Bugatti to 200 mph by a few seconds.

But hey I could be bias, I had an 06 SRT-10 Ram that would beast 11's with nothin but spray...

Viper is "higher performance", but it's also harder to live with. Stock/stock.

No cruise control.
A/C has trouble over-powering the heat of the exhaust on all but the newest models.
No electronic traction control/etc. if you get caught in a rain-storm on that road-trip.

Etc. etc. etc.

It's a better track car, but that's it.
