Is a 370Z a classy car?

Yes or no, what say you?

m4a1mustang 05-11-2010 08:55 PM

Classy? No.

molamann 05-11-2010 08:58 PM

Depends on the car you're comparing it with imo. My younger brother has a EVO X and people have commented on how much "classier" the Z is compared to the EVO, whatever that means. :D

YoungTurk 05-11-2010 09:02 PM

Classy vs. Miata power retractable hardtop?
Classy vs. New Camaro?
Classy vs. Boxster or Cayman?
Classy vs. New Mustang?

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 09:05 PM

Um no.

fullmonty 05-11-2010 09:08 PM

Not at all. If you want class you're looking at the wrong car.

Soygen 05-11-2010 09:09 PM

The word classy is completely arbitrary.

370Zsteve 05-11-2010 09:09 PM

Sexy, Trashy, a real Hottie

FWIW I like my women classy and my cars raunchy and loud.

I like fast cars and loose women. Or vice versa.

Classy= elegant, fashionable or having elegance.

I think the 370Z can be consider classy I/A/W the dictionary description.

BTW, don't confuse classic and classy, two different animals!

kenchan 05-11-2010 09:21 PM

i think sophisticated is more Z like than classy.

although i could see myself wearing a suit in my Z and still look fine. if i wore a suit in my HondaFit, i would look like im going for my first interview. :D

Yes, but elegant and fashionable, are again, arbitrary words that are completely subjective to the person using them.

That said, I would agree that the 370z fits, in my opinion.

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 09:33 PM

Id take that lincoln in a split second!...so pimpin...haha

CrownR426 05-11-2010 11:06 PM

The true question is, are you classy?
It's not the ride, it's the rider!

ZedZed 05-12-2010 01:31 AM

This car is by no means a classy car, sports car and classy don't mix.

Aston Martin is the definition of classy.

I drove to and from work every day in a full suit, in my yellow z. Doesn't look weird at all.

gumpy 05-12-2010 04:22 AM

no no

classy is bmw 3 series coupe or aston martins or the like....

the Z is raw... class implies refinement... G37 is likely to be seen as classy before the z...

DjSquall 05-12-2010 05:46 AM

I wouldn't say it's "classy" i think "sexy" is much more fitting to the Z.

I like my cars like my women: dangerously hot and with an attitude you can't find elsewhere.

zZSportZz 05-12-2010 06:17 AM

My car is a whore! A dirty filthy whore!

I agree on both points!!

shadoquad 05-12-2010 08:40 AM

Obligatory

Jesse_Hunter 05-12-2010 08:46 AM

Well my dad likes my Z better than my mom's RX-8, for what that's worth.

I told him he should probably keep that to himself......

Funny, I thought Aston Martins were sports cars. Silly me.

I personally think the word classy has no place when mentioned the Z. So the answer is no.....i think the majority would imply terms such as sexy, sporty, fast, good looking, but to me classy is Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, even Mercedes like......the Top Gear special about the Z even stated that you wouldnt be invited to a elegant "dinner party" in the Z, rather you would have to buy the new BMW Z coupe for that.

:iagree:

Although I wouldn't say the new BMW Z are classy either. Our 370Z though, is sex on wheels.

I thougt it was a wife swapping party? Can't say I've ever been to a key party before so maybe they are elegant

Hi-Step'n370Z 05-12-2010 02:48 PM

My answer is - YES! - Hands down, without a doubt. This car IS classy!

When I pull in somewhere, park and walk away from my 2010 370Z Roadster, silver/black, I can't get too far before I have to turn and take a quick look at her. The first thought that always pops into my mind is; WOW, what an absolutely beautiful, classy automobile!

I am just awestruck by the look of my Z. Buying this car was the best decision I could have made. She's pure class all the way.

I am, without any hesitation, absolutely happier with my Roadster than I have ever been, or thought I could ever be, with any car.

My Roadster represents everything I like in my women; beautiful, classy and "high maintenance"!!! That's why I call her MY GOOMAH! LOL.

mick 05-12-2010 02:58 PM

mine doesn't feel classy because it has an inexpensive stereo system, no navigation, no leather seats, etc...

but it feels like a race car and that makes up for the other things that it lacks :)

RogueDPS 05-12-2010 03:17 PM

Depends who's driving it.

If I'm in it, no way.

If my wife's in it, you bet! As long as she's not in the process of hitting the snow blower while backing it out of the garage or curbing the wheel while driving down the street.
