IMO, they are. Jaguar, bentley rolls royce, now that's classy.

You would think classy applies to luxury cars, but whenever I hear Jaguar, Bentley, Mercedes, I think of stuck up people who think money is everything and they think many people aren't good enough to be around them. And buying overpriced cars is to bring attention to themselves, rather than liking the car for what it is.

I just think of nice cars, but I mean if all that goes through your head every time you see one then power to you.

This just seems like extreme inverted snobbery on your part to me. You seem to think people with money buy things simply to show off to others, which some do, but some people really don't give a damn. The uneducated nouveau riche simply buy whatever is universally considered flashy as that allows them to show others from a similar background to themselves that 'they made it' in simple to understand means. Some people are more comfortable, have nothing to prove and don't give a damn what other people think.

I've owned a good many nice imports and I never gave a sh!t about what others thought. I've always just gravitated to what I liked, regardless. As long as I could afford them (And by afford, I mean paying cash, not getting into any debt) I'd treat myself.

I also just gravitated towards the 370 because I liked it, despite now being the only person on the street not driving a German import any more. I have nothing to prove to neighbours or people on the street.

Is the Z classy? No, not in the traditional sense. It looks good, it's comfortable and bang for the buck.

Going with this definition here!
I came from a Fast & Furious looking Mazdaspeed3, so my new Z definitely feels classy by comparison. The lines are beautiful, it's a proper rear-wheel drive two seater sports car and the interior of my Touring model with navigation feels more like the luxury of my wife's Mercedes.
Having a "grown up" sports car was of concern to me as the Mazdspped3 always got me dirty looks as if I was up to some sort of hooliganry just cruising through my development at 10mph. In the Z, I get the right kind of stares from young and old alike.

If you want to see what the Z looks like after 40 years... Look at mine....

Classy is a relative term... I believe you can have a classier version of the same exact replica.... Dependent on the modifier, you could have 2 black 370s sitting side by side and likely one of the two will be Twice as classy as the other...

370z looks classy - on a 370 forum.
