Since my commute is less than a mile every day....abysmal.

birdman71 07-24-2015 04:50 PM

I get about 18.5 mpg in a 6 m/t and that's with a heavy foot more often then not. Like I said earlier keep that mpg->revolutions bar more full than not and it will do some good things haha

I cant imagine getting like 3-5 mpg on a track haha. Totally would kill a daily driver's mpg avg

Hmm, I have three different reports. My left multi-display says 21.6 if I cycle to it (usually on temperature, which seems like wasted space). My Nav screen (reset after oil change) says 22.3. My spreadsheet tracking the fuel and odo says 19.485

Daily is right around 20

I've never even bothered to figure it out on track days, I'm actually kind of amazed it's that high, I would've guessed closer to 1.5 - 2.

21.6 MPG is what the car says it's averaging with my mixed driving.

jchammond 07-25-2015 03:39 AM

lately 26+ if i cruise @ 60,,,just over 30
i commute 41 miles each way to work.
worst tank in 2 years was 24mpg

I record every gas fill up since purchasing the Z with an app on the phone called fuel economy. The stats after 50633 miles are as follows;
Average mpg: 23 mpg
Best: 27.3
Worst: 18.9
Distance per fill: 380
Total fuel: 2227 gallons
Total cost:$12158.67
Cost/distance: $0.23/mile (including maintenance, tires, etc. )
Cost/fill up: $70.32
Average fuel cost: $4.22/gallon
Max cost: $5.56 (a little friggin gas station just outside of vegas.....f&@!kers)
Min cost: $2.71/gal

Yes, yes, I know I'm a bit OCD & anal retentive :)

Fuel milage meter on car is actually very accurate; as long as you have factory diameter tires. Vegas? I bet everything is expensive there.
Last tank for me was 480miles at just over 17gals. 93octane Shell ethanol free 3.369 per gallon. Life meter was reset first time at 47000 miles, avg was 26.3mpg

I get around 25-27MPG; that's mountain, city, and highway driving combined on my daily commute to and from work.

Mostly highway driving...but my foot is getting a little heavy, which seems to have an effect.
