RoadTrip to Las Vegas..Z is a definite Looker :)

Just got back from a 3 day Girlz Trip to Vegas... I can't tell you how many compliments I received on the Z while we were there..from people walking on the strip, to the valet people, etc. I had one guy stop me and tell me my car was his new favorite car..lol..

We headed out from Ventura County, down through LA (210) area and was hoping I might actually see one of you So-Cal guys driving around but didn't see a SINGLE 370Z on my entire trip, including in Vegas. I did see a couple 350Z's (I followed behind a Black one for awhile on the 210 and then to the 15)

It's really only the second time I've been able to drive my Z for more than about 6 miles here or there..so when I get to drive a few hundred miles in her, I am reminded all over again about how much I love her.

My friend who rode with me told me, that after awhile, she was getting a little uncomfortable (on the drive there AND when we were driving down the strip) because everyone was staring and pointing at the car. LOL..I didn't notice this because I was too busy trying to navigate that strip traffic..

But as you all already know...Our Z's are lookers for sure! :)

Well...I'm not really a girls gone wild kind of girl (older..) but I did somehow manage to dance til 5am with several 25 year old "kids" lol..who somehow talked us into letting them into our suite at The Venetian (they just wanted to see it..yea right!) It was an interesting evening to say the least...lol!

However...I am still sore from all the dancing (remember the old part?), I lost a toe ring, and can't for the life of me remember where I set down my last drink. :) lol...

Edited to change my picture to the after picture :) (gotta love that Patron!)

I agree with that. I don't really drink! It had been two YEARS since I had drank anything alcoholic. I guess it was about time. After a few shots of Patron, it gets easier, I learned.

I DID see a LOT of Camaros..Lots of yellow ones and black/yellow ones. If I would have had my little son with me, he would have been saying, "Look Mama, Bumblebee!"

Pretty much the same for me.

Interestingly..even though I didn't see a single 370Z my entire road trip, today as I was coming home from Valencia area, I saw a PG 370Z heading West on Hwy 126 heading towards Ventura. I was in my H2, not my Z tho :( Only the 2nd one I've seen since owning my Z since September of last year. Maybe I just don't get out much!? :)

OMGWTFBBQ 05-02-2010 06:34 PM

I'm pretty sure the ladies in the Z got more attention than the Z itself. People just wanted a reason to stop and chat. ;)

Sounds like you Had a great time, Stay Safe :hello:
I've yet to take a long drive.. :(

pfft. I wish..lol...I was the oldest chick in the bunch..lol..my girlfriend who rode with me (also a nursing student at the college I go to) was more the looker..lol..She's 27. (but alas, also married.) I found myself surrounded by a bunch of skinny, young un's...HOWEVER...my dance partner for most of the evening was a 25 year old kid from Berkeley. :p That cheered me up. My husband told me not to go home with anyone unless they were over 60 and rich :icon14:

Everyone is welcome on the next trip ;) I may not be the youngest thing but I can dance til they close the place down. We were eating breakfast at 5am at the The Grand Lux cafe. Funnest time I've had in a long time. (with complete strangers? LOL)

I was thinking to myself when I was there, 'Isn't there at least a couple members on the board who are from vegas? I couldn't think of their names and I kept my eyes out for ANY 370Z on this trip, in case it might have been one of you guyz.

striderx88 05-02-2010 08:22 PM

i have a black 370z

efuseakay 05-02-2010 09:27 PM

Sure, the 370Z is a gorgeous car... but come on, give yourself at least some of the credit for all of the attention! ;)

Is Glendale, AZ far from you? I may be going there in July... Apparently, my daughter is going to DIE if she doesn't get to go to a JUSTIN BEIBER concert....LOL.... :roflpuke2: So I think we'll be taking a road trip. (slightly different girls weekend, however, than I just had.) ;)

:icon18: Awkward!

Secretly, I like to hear my wife's stories when she takes the Z out for a girl's to-do or when she runs errands. I have to agree with you that the combination of a Z and a female driver attracts a lot of attention.

LoL Glendale is right next door, I'm in Avondale which is like 5 mins west. If your going to Glendale, your either going to the U.of Phoenix Stadium, or the Jobing.com arena right next door, they are like 15 mins from me lol.

AK370Z 05-03-2010 12:41 AM

Looks like you had a great time. Z is a beautiful car and great for long trips. This new Z is such a fantastic machine, you can wake up and take it to the Auto-X and leave with a :) face or you can go on a long road trip and still come home with the same smile on your face :). Thanks to Nissan for all new, all aluminum suspension system

As for the look, I get at least 2-3 compliments/week! But in this case, I may have to say it was the passengers that attracted all those attention ;).

That commercial is awesome! haha.. :icon17:

XwChriswX 05-03-2010 01:33 AM

My fav response is the one coming from all the camaro/mustang/corvette/challenger/charger and about 5 other different types that whenever they see me at a light, they feel they HAVE to peel out or gun it every time like they have to proove something lol

It could just be phoenix drivers suck for the most part I dunno???

It will be the Jobing.com arena...looks like 7/25/10 is the big Justin Beiber concert there. LOL! Such fun...(not!) :)

lol...Actually, I've had men in mini vans speed off super fast from a stop light, when they are next to me..I think that is sorta funny...lol...

Yeah a buddy of mine once somehow got tickets to a chick type concert, and didn't wanna go alone. I told him quite frankly, I didn't wanna be the tallest one in the arena. (Surrounded by pre-pubecent screaming 12-14 yr olds) no thank you... :wtf2:

LOL Yeah you get that alot around here, the problem most of the time is when they are behind you and swerve around you to go to the next lane. I'm always worried about one of them catching a bumper or a fender and taking it with them. And 90% of them don't have insurance. So its a loose/loose situation. :ugh2:

haha, I know exactly what you mean! my gf get's frustrated at people always staring lol. I'm always paying closer attention to the road, negotiating traffic and trying to avoid cutting corners because of the dodgy blind spots haha

Next to the [QUOTE] button there is a ["+] button, hit those for ones you want to multi-quote, and on the LAST one you want to quote, hit [QUOTE] on it and your reply page will load with all of the ones you selected with space between to respond to each individually, or in unison at the bottom.
