Yea, that's a good way to look at it!
But, like others have said we have become kinda pussified, I mean right is right. I believe in having the cops involved but sometimes it seems that something like a tire slashing doesn't merit the same passionate response that the victim will have. Not really their fault, just the way it is.

A better method would be to loosen the brake bleeder on one wheel.

Not like they're not accessible.
