Default Discomfort with leather seats.

I have been noticing on the driver and passenger side when i push my head against the head rest the middle of the seat pushes up into the middle of my back every single time.

I dont know if this is normal or what, just wondering if anyone else experienced this

This is a Nissan 370Z seat shown. When you get into an accident the force of your body pushes against the lower part of the two rods holding the headrest and aids in preventing whiplash. When you are seated and push your head against the headrest (yes, they really should have some angle adjustment rather than being a fixed vertical position) the lower assembly will push against your back.

If I am understanding you correctly, you are referreing to the actual "anti-whiplast" of the seat.

It should be in your owners manual.
